DCI
is dedicated to meeting and exceeding our customers’ expectations
by utilizing our domestic and international manufacturing facilities to
supply any complex metal component needs. Our modern facilities use state
of the art equipment to bring our customers the best processes available.
From our Worldwide Corporate Headquarters, DCI has become known throughout the
industry as the leader in complex metal components. The key to this position
in the marketplace is DCI’s continued commitment to hiring the best people
in their field and then giving them the education, training and technology necessary
to succeed at their profession.
In conjunction with local universities, a comprehensive certification program
has been implemented for die cast operators. Graduates can earn 35 college credit
hours that may be applied towards an associate’s degree. DCI operators
spend 12 weeks working in the Process Engineering group. This cross training
experience gives them the opportunity to better understand their role in reducing
variation in the manufacturing process.
The engineering co-op program has also proven to be an excellent source of new
technical talent for DCI. At any given time, between two and four students are
in the program. As part of their B.S. program, the students spend two years working
in all major functions of the business, enabling them to contribute to the company’s
progress immediately upon graduation.
We incorporate customer requirements with our global best practice procedures.
Rigorous training and adherence to these procedures gives our customers the confidence
in our ability to deliver on our promises.
